INSTRUCTORS
Master Josh Pickard
Owner/Master Instructor
Master Pickard began his martial arts journey studying Tae Kwon Do in the summer of 2000 and has explored many different Martial arts styles that he includes in his training and teaching at New Heights including Boxing, Karate, and BJJ. Master Pickard is a licensed referee for Kombat Taekwondo and has competed at multiple levels in Taekwondo, Karate, Kick Boxing, and MMA
Grand Master Rick Jipping
Founder/Master Instructor
Master Jipping began his training in 1979. After spending 8 years as Taekwondo/Self Defense Instructor for Hope College he opened the New Heights Fitness facility in 1991 and dedicated his training and energy to sharing his love for the arts with children and adults of all ages. Master Jipping remains committed to anyone interested in the art of Taekwondo.
Miss AliGrace Geurink
Associate Instructor
Miss AliGrace began her Taekwondo training in July 2020. In April of 2021 she began training at New Heights. Since training at New Heights she not only found a love of the sport but also for teaching. She took on an instructor role in Spring 2022 and enjoys teaching the Mighty Minis preschool classes, beginner ranks, as well as coaching tournament competitors and has herself won and coached students to victory in tournaments both Nationally and Internationally
